Have I got a deal for you: if you're interested in owning a copy of Fourier Series but haven't got the sixteen bones, slightly damaged copies are now available at half-price here (just click on "these sellers"). Although listed as "used," these are actually brand-new copies that came slightly blemished from the printer (the covers are a bit smudged, the insides are fine) and paired with imperfectly cut French Revolution folds (that's what we're calling the funky dust jacket the books come with). by Marcel Proust

Slowly, slowly sinking into the astonishingly sensual memory-world of Proust. At forty, I think I'm finally old enough to appreciate it. Reading the Moncrief but I'd like to check out the Lydia Davis translation as well.
