Perhaps I will reassess Peter Streckfus' Reagan poems now. Goodbye to the likeable bastard. (Not Streckfus.)

Two new books out from Barrow Street, my editor Lois Hirshkowitz's 3.14159+ and Evelyn Reilly's Hiatus. They have surprisingly edgy covers; I like the bar code on the front like that. The overall format is reminiscent of Krupskaya. I'm looking forward to reading them both; I've never heard of Reilly before but she has an interesting background. I'm also hoping this will mean broader distribution for Barrow Street titles in general. Still to come: the new contest winner, Christine Scanlon's Ectoplasm, which was picked by David Lehman.
